| PERSONALITY |
 Salem comes off as very upbeat, knowledgable for his age, and pretty at peace with his current situation. Not to say he doesn't have his night where he wishes it would all just go away, but for the most part, he is well adjusted. He is friendly, probably could be viewed as a bit nosy at times,but always bright when he can manage to be. He has his times of depression, but he normally tries to keep them out of sight from everyone else, and keep a smile. Very naturally flirty, this side of him can often get him into trouble. He has been accused of leading people on before, when really, he is pretty oblivious to the fact that he is flirting at all. Much to the annoyance and frustration. of others at times. He'll do anything he can to help someone out, and doesn't like to take charity, but will in the right situation. He tries hard not to become annoying to people, and worries that he may be inconveniencing people on a regular basis even if he isn't. He just wants to be self sufficient. Sweet and innocent though he may seem or even is, the boy can talk his way out of many a situation with nothing more than acute grin. |
| HISTORY |
 Salem has been homeless and working the streets for money for about two years now. He came from an abusive home. His father drank a lot, and his mother worked too much to notice, or care what went on in the household. One day, his father left, didn't come back. A few days later Salem came home from school to a note on the counter that his mother went looking for him. Most of her things were gone. He lived in the apartment by himself for a while before one of the neighbors noticed both parents absences and called social services. Salem got escorted to a group center. Not being able to stand the place, and its ways for long, he jumped ship and has been making it on his own ever since, trying to stay out of the radar. |
| OTHER TIDBITS |
 Salem drinks regularly, he is also taking Ritalin without a perscription which is the definite cause of some of his moods. He has been known to use harder drugs and has been more and more regularly as of late. He saves as much as he can as far as money goes, but a lot of it goes to bad habits. Still, he seems to make it on his own. He enjoys raves, parties, and anything that can take his mind off of things for long periods of time. |
